As an Imaging Center Hospitality Associate, you'll be the face of our Fairfax Radiology Centers. You'll greet patients, guide them through the registration process, answer questions, and ensure every interaction reflects the compassion, professionalism, and hospitality that define who we are.

• Register patients accurately using our Radiology Information System (RIS)
• Collect identification, physician orders, insurance information, and payments
• Scan and maintain patient documentation to ensure billing accuracy
• Verify orders and pre-authorizations, escalating discrepancies when appropriate

• Monitor patient arrivals and appointment status
• Communicate delays with empathy and professionalism
• Assist with same-day scheduling requests, walk-in X-rays, and other patient needs
• Help ensure an efficient, organized patient experience throughout the day

• Answer incoming calls using FRC's professional phone etiquette standards
• Route calls and relay messages appropriately
• Burn or load imaging DVDs and assist with medical record requests
• Maintain a clean, organized reception and waiting area

• Safeguard confidential patient information
• Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies
• Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in every interaction

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of customer service or hospitality experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to navigate multiple software applications
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Healthcare, medical office, or patient registration experience
• Experience with insurance verification or patient scheduling
• Familiarity with electronic medical records or healthcare registration systems

• Confidently manage patient registration from arrival through check-in
• Deliver consistently outstanding customer service to patients and families
• Maintain accuracy while balancing multiple priorities throughout the day
• Build strong relationships with coworkers and clinical staff
• Become a trusted resource for creating a welcoming, efficient patient experience

Compensation & Career Growth

Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:

$19.13 - $25.88 per hour
