This is a full-time, benefitted position located in our Breast Center in Fairfax, Virginia. The hours are Monday – Friday, 9:15 AM - 5:45 PM.
No weekends, holidays, or call! Free on-site parking!

Who you are:
As the Medical Receptionist and valued member of our team you are someone who can effectively communicate with patients and FRC staff, works well in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate empathy.
What you will do:

Greets patients, obtains referral, and indicates their arrival
Registers patients accurately, efficiently, and professionally to ensure data integrity and facilitate timely claims processing, as well as, collecting patient liabilities at point of service.
Creates accurate and complete accounts in the information system by obtaining and verifying all necessary information.
Applies financial screening guidelines and payer requirements to secure financially collectible patient accounts.
Schedules and registers patients for any same day procedures utilizing the appropriate guidelines for the modality.
Escorts patients from entrance to dressing or exam rooms and performs patient appointment confirmations and screenings.

What you bring:

1 year or more of medical office or hospital front desk experience
Exceptional customer service skills
Able to work independently and on a team
Professional written and verbal communication
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Exceptional computer aptitude and ability to use multiple systems and acquire proficiency in multiple electronic systems
