DXA Technologist – Outpatient | Fairfax Breast Center, Fairfax, VA | Full-Time | Weekdays Only
Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in the Washington, DC metro area — is seeking a DXA (Bone Density) Technologist to join our team at the Fairfax Breast Center.

About the Role
Location: Fairfax Breast Center
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
No weekends, holidays, or call

What You’ll Do

Perform DXA bone density exams using FRC protocols and ALARA safety standards
Update and maintain accurate records in RIS/PACS
Review prior imaging and confirm exam details
Obtain medical history and clearly explain procedures to patients
Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies
Assist with general center duties as needed
Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all state/federal regulations

What You’ll Bring

ARRT (R) certification
Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
BLS/AED certification
Strong communication and customer service skills
